Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is a national, 8-hour course that covers how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training provides the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. This class is relevant for not only supervisors, but all employees of an organization. So far, over 2 million people have been trained through a base of 15,000 instructors.
